It's back! After a year hiatus, the AIS-Salzburg talent show has made a strong comeback. Here's a look at the acts (both student and staff) that performed this year.
Here is my first vlog ever! It's about my last trip to Salzburg where I took part in SEAD MoveMentors Workshop with Konstandina Efthimiadou. SEAD itself is a great school for dancers who want to improve the technique and understanding of main principals of movement, but also to use the imagination more, to become more creative and open. It was a very nice week with amazing group of dancers full of exploration, hard work, research, positive emotions, good food and inspiration. We had a chance to see the BODHI Project performing and on the very last day I had some time to enjoy the beauty of Salzburg preparing for Easter. I hope the video will give you the feeling of the atmosphere and you'll enjoy it. Let me know what you think! Music: Delectatio - Just live Here you can find more info...

http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com Yes. As Mel Brook's once said, "It's good to be King." But, if you can't be King, what's wrong with being a Prince in the Seventeenth Century? Obviously nothing as proved by Hellbrunn Palace built as a summer pleasure palace by Salzburg's Prince Archbishop Markus Sittikus von Hohenems. After a fun tour of the trick fountains (Wasserspiele), Steve and I entered the Palace to tour the ornate rooms using an audio headset included in the entrance price of 10.50 Euro per adult. Only an Archbishop was allowed to have the best and rarest of everything (including the ugliest dwarf); epitomized by his collections and separated into separate rooms, e.g., Flora, fish, curious oddities, etc. Only 10 actual rooms are open to the public but what...a...place!

https://www.expedia.com/Salzburg.d180020.Destination-Travel-Guides The Austrian city of Salzburg is situated on the northern edge of the Alps, close to the border of Germany. Surrounded by lakes and mountains, and straddling the banks of the Salzach River, few cities can match Salzburg’s fairytale setting. Few places can match its musical heritage either. Salzburg is the hometown of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and provided the settings for one of cinema’s most-adored musicals, The Sound Of Music. Take the funicular to Hohensalzburg, one of Europe’s best-preserved medieval fortresses. Down below in the Old Town you’ll find Salzburg Cathedral and the Salzburg Museum. Nearby, wander along narrow Getreidegasse, one of the loveliest shopping streets in the world. Just off the Old Market ...
We had just 24 hours to see Salzburg, Austria on our road trip across Europe. We made the most of it and tried to fit in as many attractions as we could. Salzburg is a beautiful city, but it was pretty crowded when we visited There were far more tourist than we were expecting. I guess the Sound of Music has really pulled in the tourist. You can't walk any part of the city without seeing something related to Sound of Music, tours, shops, concerts, plays, you name it, they got it. Brittany almost convinced me to go on a Sound of Music tour, but only because free beer would be provided. Take a virtual tour through Salzburg, Austria with us! Filled with old world charm, European grandeur and an infatuation with classical music, Salzburg feels special the moment you arrive. Visiting is like wandering into a fairy-tale - the locals are charming, the architecture simply beautiful, and it’s the prodigal birthplace of two of Austria’s most treasured cultural icons: The Sound of Music and Mozart. As many have come to realise, however, there are more stories to be found in Salzburg than just the Von Trapp family’s. Here’s how to go about exploring the finest this storybook city has to offer in just 48 hours.

Travel video about destination Salzburg in Austria. The Austrian city of Salzburg is a city of bishops as well as being the birthplace of world famous classical composer, Amadeus Mozart. The cathedral is located in the heart of the city, a Baroque building situated on the same site as the city's first church and now surrounded by several squares. Even today, the cultural picture of the city on the Salzach is dominated by more than 100 churches, castles and palaces. Guten Tag! This trip to Hallstatt and Salzburg was quite interesting to us. We lived in Austria for 4 months already and it was really cool to see the traditional side of Austria. I absolutely loved this random town called Gosau and to me it was so picturesque!! It looked like it was right out of a postcard! Oh, Austria would always be a home to me!
Travel video about destination Salzburg in Austria. The magnificent buildings within Mozart's famous city of Salzburg are not the only reason why it is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Austria. The Prince Archbishop, Wolf Dietrich, ordered that Salzburg Cathedral be built according to Italian Early Baroque design. It was constructed between 1614 and 1628 on the site of a previous Romanic building. At one time the Getreidegasse served as the main road of the old city and on January 27th 1756, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born in house number seven, 119 metres above the town is one of Middle Europe's most well preserved castles, Hohensalzburg, which covers an area of around 30,000 square metres. The centre of Kapitel Square is dominated by a Schwemme, a fountain that dates back...

http://tourvideos.com/ Salzburg, Austria, a perfect day includes the castle, walking the narrow lanes, enjoying great views from Kapuzinerberg and Monchsberg hills, have a beer and sausage and visit Mirabell Gardens. The center of town is given over to pedestrians, so you can have a good look around by simply walking. Wear comfortable shoes! There is certainly a lot of interesting history you may absorb here, with visits to museums, castles and palaces, but it is the ambience of the town itself that is most attractive -- the lanes, courtyards, shops, gardens and little squares are the most rewarding part of the Salzburg experience.
